The pretty, medieval village of Cima is an historical part of the lakeside town of Porlezza.
It is a lovely picturesque town with old cobbled streets and many traditional shops including a bakery, butchers and post office.There are several good restaurants, cafes, clothes shops, and general stores and most importantly, ice cream parlours! End a romantic evening with a walk along the beautiful lakeside boulevard. Porlezza is just 12 km, over the mountain pass from Menaggio on Lake Como and is on the scenic route to the town of Swiss town Lugano. Porlezza is the principle town at this Southern end of the Lake in Italy and adds an Italian flavour to a well known Swiss name! | |
